Are you all saying that you get banned by Taylor White on the Facebook group about the Jerry Goldsmith books for asking when the fully paid for books are finally released? Seriously? I never really had anything to do with him before this Kickstarter campaign, but you have to seriously wonder: What kind of a person is Taylor White?
Personally I don't Taylor is doing the banning. He's probably not looking at the FB group anymore since every post is against him and usually no one ever sits through reading all the comments bashing them. They're probably done by Jacob White
All those things you liken this to differed in one major way. The people who re-bought/upgraded the 'new, improved' edition already HAD the original edition in the first place.
I know, and I reflected on that in my last paragraph. At least many of us (not all, I'm aware) received the PDF's which one could argue is an earlier, lesser format. I am grateful for those and Bond's obvious work, so this is, at least, not a case of the project never being started or the "meat" of the item not being carefully crafted.
Tempted to have some local printer just print and bind those PDFs for my own use if nothing happens with the physical books, as others have suggested they might do. Just waiting to see what, if anything, happens in the remaining time of 2025.

Apart from myself, is there anyone else who was - a= not interested in the books b=wise enough not to pledge c= a+b= (muahahahaha!)
I'm probably in a unique situation. It started as "d" - I really wanted this books but due leaving of Visa/MasterCard/PayPal from my country couldn't make a pledge... But after this years of waiting my inability turns into "b" - "wise enough not to pledge"
To be fair to Taylor, it's gone all quiet regards those James Horner books, too.
Admittedly, no money changed hands with those, but it might indicate how tricky it is to print/distribute books to a dwindling niche audience succumbing to old age with the long wait....

Actually, no. Nope. Can't compare.
These books were "fully written and ready for printing". Not only that, they were basically pre-sold, so you didn't even have to worry about commercial viability. All you had to do is take the money, print and send the books, that's it.
But we will see. Just a reminder Mr. White said:
"We are working tirelessly to finally get these books printed and delivered to you. All we can ask, again, is that you please be patient with us as we round the final bend; you WILL have these books in your hands in 2025."
Not sure how working tirelessly on it and apparently zero progress for months on end go hand in hand? But it's no problem to get these books out and send to the people with the money taken in and even keep a nice profit.
We'll see how this goes... still enough time left in 2025. :-)
