This may be a little off topic, but I'm Needing a little help from my friends (if it isn't too much trouble)...Does anyone know of a great website(s) that has Movie Posters and other images from movies, TV shows, animation, etc. that one can download and save in our photo files? Thanks in advance for any paths in the right direction... smile

I've collected dozens and dozens of movie poster and movie still and movie lobby card images from eBay....folks selling them more often than not show us what their items look like. I only copy the ones that show the poster/still to its best advantage...and always, always, always enlarge the photo (the nearly always give you that option) before copying it.

Places to search: movie posters, lobby card(s), title card(s), still sets. If you have a particular film in mind, just look under that film's title. If there is anything in the way of posters or stills, you'll find it more easily that way.

Also, keep in mind that what folks enter is what you get. For instance, if you want to look up "The Fall of the Roman Empire," you may get 20 hits. BUT, if you look up "Fall of the Roman Empire" you might get 45 hits because folks often drop articles from titles when they advertise. Using the latter entry, you'll get everything that contains the words "Fall of the Roman Empire", including entries with "The Fall of the Roman Empire." And if you're really anxious to find everything that might be out there, enter "Fall of Roman Empire" for those sellers who haven't yet realized that the more articles they drop, the fewer opportunities they have for folks to find their items!!!!!

By the way, if you are looking for the actual movie posters, look no further than Anzaldiman. If I recall correctly, he has quite a collection.

There is nothing "off-topic" on this message board. Lukas and Co. created it for the express purpose of making it a home for any and all discussions.

Well, Ori, it's sort of off-topic because I wanted the artwork for certain things in my collection and they need some artwork so they will look better sitting on furniture! big grin
