After being quite disappointed by "Tarzan" I`ve listened to some older scores by David Newman and again I was blown away by the craftmanship and the creativity of his score to "102 Dalmatians". After listening to that score again I knew why I became such a huge Newman fan. "102 Dalmatians" is incredibly creative, inventive and developed. It cleverly incorporates and samples the song "Digga Digga Dog" by Oren Waters from the film in such a creative way, it is almost mind boggling. The score is just amazing. In my humble opinion it is one of the most creative film scores of the 90s. Isn`t it sad that you don`t hear those kind of scores in today`s films anymore?
