Trailer of the thriller with Ornella Muti: Some editorial observations on the soundtrack albums after ripping my two editions of these classic, hard hitting Morricone score. The Prometheus album (coupled with 12 tracks from "La Donna Della Demenica") contains just 10 tracks. It is a short score. The Cinevox album contains 14 tracks (TT: 27:54). The crux: Track #22 "The Most Beautiful Wife" (0:58) on the Prometheus album is not included on the Cinevox edition. The first 58 seconds are exactly the same as far as I can tell. You are right. When I compared them for the first time I felt both sounded so differently that I assumed the mix wasn't the same. But after your post I've just made a closer comparison with Cool Edit Pro and there I go. The old Prometheus CD (which has a far inferior sound...) has just left my collection... Great!
