In the 1968 "Planet of the Apes", we all know about Charlton Heston. Does anyone know whatever happened to the other two astronauts, Jeff Burton and Robert Gunner? Just curious.

As I understand it, they've both been stuffed and mounted and are on exhibit in a museum somewhere...

So much for their "acting" careers, huh?? The "bloody baboons" cut out their brains! I think they did them both a huge favor!!

They went on to long, useless careers as Republican politicians...

JesterPool,
www.imdb.com and searching on those two names is your answer.. That's about all there is on those two..

I forget which of the two played Dodge at the moment but I do recall seeing that actor in a Dragnet episode once playing a killer. That's the only thing I've ever seen with either of those two actors beyond POTA.

Jeff Burton was Dodge, Robert Gunner was Landon. Thanks to everyone for the input. I guess this is a 15-minutes of fame situation.
