It got desultory and truncated treatment on the Animal House soundtrack. And it seems to be sourced from a bad dub. I have no idea what else Elmer wrote for the movie. I think there is some heroic stuff at the end when the Deltas wreck the homecoming parade, but I don't recall anything else. I wonder what the chances are of seeing these tracks remastered and perhaps appended to a larger Elmer Bernstein soundtrack from a Universal film? Or maybe re-recorded as part of the re-recording of another larger score? Elmer always used to talk about how Landis asked him to do a straight score for this his first in a series of comedy smashes, no mickeymousing. And yet my favorite part of this is during Bluto's speech when the orchestra sounds like it is vamping while waiting for him to come up with the rest of his line. The score wasn't very well represented on the soundtrack. I recall other great parts of the score like when they are bringing the horse to Dean Wormer's office, when Bluto is watching Mandy undress, when they are running from the bar that Otis was playing at... I think the pirate theme you mention is from the Yul Brynner film "The Buccaneer" (1958). Road Trip Cue. Which prompts Flounder to say "THE NEGROES TOOK OUR DATES!" I worked at a movie Theater Showing ANIMAL HOUSE on it's first fun and I never missed that scene. I also think that this is one of the best releases in the world, incredible, but many students are watching this film and they like it, recently I went to the cinema for the premiere of the film and we were delighted, in general the movie brings a wide range of emotions to people, everything what the heroes of the films on the screen are experiencing, each of us would like to experience in life, I think to pay for a college essay at https://edusson.com/pay-for-essay and go into the life of the cinema, it’s stupid of me, but from early childhood I dreamed of becoming an actor and I think that’s the time fulfill my dream.     General Discussion: E.
