I've known for quite a while now this thread is a mess and I don't even have posts labeled for what season, so I've gone in and done a major initial clean up of my posts tp include season and episode numbers by each episode.
More fixes to come.
Can somebody who knows, tell me if any cues from the season one episode "Lombard", are available? I don't mean rips, I mean like Hammer loaded to YouTube (maybe gone now), some promo, maybe something from his website.

FB, since you are really into the show's scoring and maybe have some free time, you should start a thread that shows what is available so far: stuff composers loaded to YouTube, stuff from composer websites, those few small cues from that obscure disc of unreleased Hammer material, anything that was leaked that was meant to be shared privately, under each episode name and by season.

Still waiting desperately on an actual complete box set. I would buy like 4 copies just in case. It's one of the most wishlisted release i want to see with Kevin Bassinson's Police Story score.
There's so many cues throughout all seasons of Miami Vice, even songs that were never seen outside of the Miami Vice episode in which they're in. It is such a waste honestly
One of the most iconic tv-series ever, and tv music scoring.
I've played the music to death the last 40 years.
And so much music left that's unreleased !
Don't know what the hold-up is : Licensing issues ? Not enough interest ? Too Expensive ? Jan Hammer not wanting short cues released ? Tapes lost ?
Whatever, i'd buy 4 copies as well !!
