Very pleasant concert. Is it me or Randy Newman appears a little tired ?

Moving and funny speech as usual...

Great conducting by David Newman

Doesn't Randy Newman always look a bit tired with those drooping eyes? wink

Anyways, thanks for sharing. I had to down-prioritize Vienna this year, so it's nice to see what happened.

Is there a program available for this? I went to the site and it doesn't actually let you know what was performed.

Just a quick heads up to anyone in the UK (or elsewhere) who has access to the Sky Arts channel.
They are showing this David Newman conducted tribute concert to Randy Newman tomorrow - 7-00 am.
They've already broadcast the James Horner one and the Alexandre Desplat/space music one is being shown in the next week or two as well.
I now return you to your scheduled programming.

And Shaun, 5 years later, I'll have an answer for you right soon.
