A re-recording of Ferde Grofe's ROCKETSHIP X-M. It's a mostly overlooked score and is one of Ferde's greatest compositions.

A new recording of Tiomkin's complete score for Frank Capra's "Lost Horizon" with orchestra and choir would be wonderful.

Yes ! I love that "hidden" gem ; especially the track from the atomic age to the Stone Age / the chase.

Yes to this one also. I remember the joy I felt almost 50 years ago when I saw the Charles Gerhardt LP in E.J. Korvettes in Paramus,N.J. The film is one of my favorites of all time also.

Off the top of my head...
These will not be popular grails but hey I was an 80s kid and I have a "different" taste in music/films/TV than the majority.
I would love to see more 80s animated TV scores released. Like Thundarr the Barbarian, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, GI JOE, etc. It was nice to get some Transformers music on LP recently but more would be welcomed. LaLaLand's two Filmation releases were amazing. And I would love the 60s Hanna Barbera underscores from shows like Scooby Doo Where Are You? and Josie and the Pussycats, etc. Again, LLL's Jonny Quest was great to see released. How about something really obscure: The Trouble with Miss Switch and Miss Switch to the Rescue from ABC's Weekend Specials? The music was great and brings me right back in time to my childhood. Also a multi CD release of 80s/90s MacGyver music.

For movie scores, I've long requested The President's Analyst (see my avatar), but it also must include the songs and any other Barry McGuire/Clear Light demos from the sessions etc.
Speaking of James Coburn films, I wouldnt mind a CD reissue of the LP for Blake Edward's Waterhole #3 or even an expanded edition with all of the Roger Miller songs and Grusin music.
Also:
Complete Rocky saga scores with both Film/Album versions, extras and outtakes.
Complete Return of the Jedi with missing Sail Barge/Rebo Band cues (I call it the "Jedi Funk").
Complete Ewok films scores or at least a reissue of the Varese LP by Peter Bernstein.
Complete James Bond set with all the bells and whistles and extras.

So many other titles have been knocked off my list in the past. Its really unbelievble to me some of the rare titles we've had the pleasure of getting. I mean did anyone think they would ever get a gigantic Star Trek TOS box set? Round of applause to all the composers, producers, labels, artists, engineers, and employees who make these great physical CD releases happen in this digital age.

I think any "grail" list that lists more than one (or two or three, but that is really it) "grails" cannot really be considered a "grail" list, but merely a "want" list.

I’ve gotten pretty much all of mine (thank you, LLL, for Close Encounters, Harry Potter and TMP, and Varese for Dracula!). But there are a couple of things I’d open up the wallet for without regret.

Expanded Moonraker (alas, like the real Grail, forever out of reach) and remastered Tomorrow Never Dies

Expanded Pirates of the Caribbean (fun score)

Expanded Inception (I know, I know, but I really like the movie)

And I liked the idea of a Babylon 5 box. That was some good music, and a 5-10 disc box would go far to offset the practical impossibility of an HD remaster of the series. I bought a couple of the single episode discs last year. Even if it’s just the ones Franke already sold, but collected together and nicely packaged, I’d buy it.

SILVESTRI
Polar Express
Grumpy Old Men

HORNER
The Land Before Time (Expanded & better sound)

ARNOLD
Tomorrow Never Dies (Complete)
Casino Royale (Complete)

NEWMAN
Phenomenon

MCNEELY
Soldier
Secret of the Wings

WILLIAMS
Dear Basketball (I'd be happy with a digital download of this)
Rise of Skywalker (Expanded)
Indiana Jones (Complete)
The Reivers

CONTI
Rocky Complete Scores

NEWMAN
The Mighty Ducks

Still amazed that the Polar Express hasn't seen an official release. Grumpy Old Men/Grumpier Old Men seems like it would be a perfect one for Quartet to release. The Mr. Mom score has been a great listen so far.

Mostly old stuff from MGM (Stothart's Madame Curie, a bunch of Kaper's)

The original film scores of Korngold.

Vera Cruz and The harder they fall by Hugo Friedhofer (didn't Quartet Records consider the former as a future rerecording?)

Tiomkin's The dark mirror (starring Olivia de Havilland)

Daniele Amfitheatrof: Max Ophüls' Letter from an unknown woman and Otto Preminger`s The Fan
