I seem to recall the original came up for auction in the last few years and was featured on the Hollywood Treasures show.
Personally, I'd really love to have acquired the full scale prop of Taylor's ship used in Planet, Beneath, Escape and the pilot of the TV show (and The Illustrated Man) but that I think rotted away on the Fox backlog years ago.
There were two Lawgiver statues made for the original movie, plus a bust of the head and shoulders which is seen in the courtroom scene. The bust was later used for close-ups of the statue in BENEATH, where they drilled holes in it for blood to pour out. Of the two full-size statues, one was kept by producer Arthur P. Jacobs, the other was given by Jacobs to Sammy Davis Jr. because he liked the movie so much. The one that Davis had I believe ended up in the hands of Apemania, who restored it and I think they also recovered the original molds of the prop and have been making very expensive copies. I'm not sure if they're still doing this. The other statue was sold at auction by Jacob's widow, Natalie Trundy, back in the '80s or early '90s for only around $15,000, and that's the statue owned by the guy shown on Hollywood Treasures. They couldn't get him to part with the statue, which just keeps going up in value, and as far as I know the guy still owns it. He had it restored -- it's made of fiberglass -- and I hope he's keeping good care of it.
As for the spaceship prop. After use in the TV series, it was left to sit and rust on the Fox Ranch in Malibu. The studio sold the ranch to the state of California around 1975 -- it's now Malibu Creek State Park -- and whatever was left from Fox productions was either bulldozed, such as what was left of Ape City and the M*A*S*H sets, or hauled off to the dump some place. Such was the fate of Taylor's unlucky spaceship.
