In all seriousness though - I'm assuming this is the original two disc Oscar promo plus the original street released album?

I can't make out the individual tracks, but it looks like disks 1 and 2 are the score as heard in film and disk 3 is the original album.

The Oscar promo was a complete mess with repeated cues. I can't imagine that would be replicated here.

I did not know this (I searched for it for many years and never got a hold of it). All I ever had was the single disc Oscar Promo.

And it's not replicated. This release was rebuilt from the ground up with Mr Williams's full support. 1941, Hook, and Empire of the Sun paved the way for this great release and for future Williams/Spielberg projects yet to come.

This is fantastic news. "A.I." is my favorite score of this millennium. (And no, that's not a reference to your other June releases.)

Absolutely stunning! Wonderful release LLL! The original album was and is a fine capsule presentation of the score, but was missing a lot of great, imaginative music. Bravo!

I'm not kidding, 'cause I never saw that film and heard that music at all...

Wow! After fourteen years, I had given up hope! A miracle!

I spent hours and hours and hours trying to create a mix in film order from the seemingly randomly assembled 2-disc Academy promo and the commercial album.

This is my favorite score of the new century as well, and it's also my favorite Williams/Spielberg collaboration, my favorite Spielberg film, and my favorite Williams score. In every way, on every level, a flawless, towering, incomparable masterpiece.

The film is hugely divisive, and I see both sides. I think the film is very striking, with many scenes that still haunt me, though I don't believe it's ultimately successful. Still, I think about it a lot more than most films I see today.

I think the score is brilliant – alternately cold, emotional, and exciting. Don't expect a sweeping Williams sci-fi score like "E.T." or "Star Wars." It's not that at all. But it is compelling from start to finish, and I'm a huge fan.

This movie was always difficult for me to watch and I don't know why. For me, it's a "When will the other shoe drop?" kind of movie and when I first saw it, I was about to go away to college (for the first time) so there was probably some mother/son separation anxiety thing going on, too. smile

So... ordered!

Any Williams/Spielberg/Lucas projects to come, or just Williams/Spielberg? big grin

I'm kidding. Everything looks great!
