It's not even the expanded edition from LLL...just the old CD edition. But anyone saying LPs aren't selling well these days...think again. Madness!!

Aaaah, yes, good old times! Got all the pre-CD Horner scores on LP.

I switched from LPs to CDs in 1987, and it was a pretty "clean" switch, so I don't have any later Horner LPs, but I do have some of the time before of course, like BRAINSTORM, STAR TREK II & III, GORKY PARK, etc...

The last vinyl I ever bought was the 2LP BASIC INSTINCT set from Quartet. That's the only new LP I bought this century. (I almost bought Vangelis INVISIBLE CONNECTIONS on LP, but that fell through.) The last LP I bought before that was presumably EXTREME PREJUDICE in 1987. The last James Horner LP I bought might have been THE NAME OF THE ROSE in 1986.

Did the Rocketeer come out on LP or was that released on CD? I know it came definitely out on CD at the time, because I got that. I don't think it had a concurrent LP release.

I have never seen a ROCKETEER LP from back then, no. I bought LPs as long as possible as I thought this little silver thingy will vanish again. Oh how wrong I was. I am not a 100% sure anymore, but I guess GREMLINS 2 and MACARTHUR were my first CDs at a time when I still bought HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER on LP.
