Wow, this is disappointing.
Sold out already.
Hopefully there will be a repress.

It's not even the expanded edition from LLL...just the old CD edition.
But anyone saying LPs aren't selling well these days...think again.
Madness!!

Aaaah, yes, good old times! Got all the pre-CD Horner scores on LP.

I switched from LPs to CDs in 1987, and it was a pretty "clean" switch, so I don't have any later Horner LPs, but I do have some of the time before of course, like BRAINSTORM, STAR TREK II & III, GORKY PARK, etc...

To answer the original question I did have Glory on vinyl as well as many other Horner scores on LP. I distinctively remember buying WOK on LP. I purchased most of my vinyls starting in the mid 70's thought the 80's.

But CD's eventually won out for me and I systematically replaced (tossed out) my vinyls as my favorite scores made it to CD.
Kinda wish I kept my old vinyls but I have no interest in collecting vinyl again now.

I still have The Secret of NIMH on vinyl. I really regret tossing out my Godzilla 1984 LP it had a poster inside.

I don't recall the last vinyl I ever purchased. Did the Rocketeer come out on LP or was that released on CD? If so then Glory was very likely the last vinyl I ever purchased.

The last vinyl I ever bought was the 2LP BASIC INSTINCT set from Quartet. That's the only new LP I bought this century. (I almost bought Vangelis INVISIBLE CONNECTIONS on LP, but that fell through.)

The last LP I bought before that was presumably EXTREME PREJUDICE in 1987.

The last James Horner LP I bought might have been THE NAME OF THE ROSE in 1986.

I know it came definitely out on CD at the time, because I got that. I don't think it had a concurrent LP release.

Then I'm almost certain Glory was the last LP I ever purchased.
Speaking of CD's I distinctly remember the very first CD's I ever purchased were Glory and An American Tail.

I have never seen a ROCKETEER LP from back then, no. I bought LPs as long as possible as I thought this little silver thingy will vanish again. Oh how wrong I was.

I am not a 100% sure anymore, but I guess GREMLINS 2 and MACARTHUR were my first CDs at a time when I still bought HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER on LP.

No LP release for The Rocketeer.

Last LPs issued, coinciding with films releases, were FIEVEL GOES WEST and PATRIOT GAMES (Brazilian editions only).

For JW fans, a regular LP edition of JURASSIC PARK was also released in Brazil in 1993.
