The score to Roland Joffé's newest film. Say what you will about the man's career, but he's the director of Texas Rising (Debney and Broughton), There Be Dragons (Folk) which surprised everyone a few years ago, The Mission (Morricone), and The Scarlet Letter (Barry/Bernstein), among others, so clearly he knows how to bring out the best in composers. And the samples here are good, so I'm planning on a blind buy.

Ordered first, now checking out samples, which sound really beautiful!

I am sure this is a blind buy I won't regret smile

Just saw this gorgeous score is on sale at Varese for the ridiculous price of only 5 bucks.

There aren't enough words to describe the beauty of this work, like they used to do them years ago.

Anyone who likes lush symphonic and thematic music should own this. Check it out !!

For me it was a letdown: a beautiful main theme - and nothing else... frown
