Ha, ha. Personally, I had been ecstatic if Mick Jagger had wanted to work on my movie.

The only film composers who've ever popped into my dreams are Anne Dudley, Debbie Wiseman, Pinar Toprak, Lesley Barber, Hurdy Gurdy...

Ha, ha. Personally, I had been ecstatic if Mick Jagger had wanted to work on my movie.

I'd let him act in it...but I wouldn't want him providing the music!

I only just now remembered that Jones scored Freejack -- which Jagger appeared in. I wonder if my dream was subconsciously referencing that movie.

Where's Professor McCrumble when yer need him.

Where is he, period? Especially when you take into account the last half-year and more.

Prof McCrumbly is alive and well and posting at the Rózsa Forum. I think he just got fed up with us here, given that we constantly showed how unversed in alchemy and Greek legends we are. Way below his level.

On topic, I dreamed last night that I was participating in some kind of "virtual video" chat with some well-loved - and some much-despised - FSMers. Nobody looked at all as I imagined, nobody looked like a total wanker. Nobody even mentioned John Williams or Jerry Goldsmith, or Marvel superheroes, but there was some in-depth conversation about all the murderers we've been friends with! Freaky, eh?

Thankfully I woke up and was comforted to see that I was back safely in my spaceship.

I was on the phone with Jerry Goldsmith*.

He had, some time ago, let me look at his conductor score for THE WIND AND THE LION.** Now, I was asking him if I could look at another one of his scores.

While I was talking to him, I was seeing him on the phone talking to me. It was on a split screen where I was seeing him talk and me talk, just like in a Paul Schrader movie.***

Sounds like him alright! wink

It's been a while since I had film music-related dreams (that I can remember). It's mostly nightmares these days, like last night -- when I had TWO consecutive dreams about being chased, and not being able to "make it in time".

I was told that after 12 noon, I could come to the studio to see JW conduct his latest score.

I got there and the guard let me go in when I said I was there for the recording. But after that, getting through the studio gates was like entering a combination Vegas casino and theme park.

JW did not appear in this dream. Does it count?

Does Carol Goldsmith count?
