Stephen Sondheim kept switching between being Stephen Sondheim, and being John Williams.

I just had a short dream about...............Lorne Balfe.
He was sitting by a computer (I had seen a picture on Facebook the day before of a very young Balfe sitting with a Fairlight and a screen).
He didn't allow me to come and see what score he was working on, but he explained the scoring process in more general terms.
Later it was suddenly Lorne's father who sat by the PC, then Lorne's brother and in the end Lorne's sister-in-law!

I had one where I went to McDonald's and was served by Joe Kraemer and Cliff Eidelman.

Not exactly a "weird dream", but I just woke up to the reality that there was apparently not an expanded edition of Joe Renzetti's POLTERGEIST III? I could have sworn there was one, and that I had it. This is weird. Seriously, I was just looking for it on my NAS, and wondered why I had not ripped it yet... then I went to my shelf, and it's not there... and the Internet only knows of the Varèse Sarabande Original Soundtrack CD. But I could have sworn I have the complete score and read the liner notes for an expanded release.

I dreamed Thor showed me his massive expanded soundtrack collection.
I read this too fast. I thought it said "massive expanded appendix".

Two dreams in one night starred Jerry Goldsmith. In one of them he was trying to give me an umbrella. I think.

I had another John Williams dream the other night.
First, I was set to go on a boat that would take me to some kind of concert out on an island. A pop concert, not an orchestral concert, can't remember the artist. Once there, however, I realized I had no ticket and had to sneak my way into the compound, pretending I was "somebody". While rummaging through the area, I stumbled upon a locker room, the kind you see in gyms. I peaked through the door and saw John Williams tuturing a bunch of suit-dressed men and women. "A-ha", I thought, "Williams is tutuoring up-and-coming Norwegian conductors!". So I said this to Williams:
- "Is this the new batch of young, Norwegian conductors?"
- "Sure is", he said, "I've been looking for talent like this...."
- "That's great!", I said, rudely cutting him short and started turning away.
But before I turned, I noticed he smiled back and said "OK, cheers!", being somewhat impressed, I think, that I wasn't a fanboy or anything, but just someone asking what was going on, and then moving on.
