Incidentally, Eee-Dee, Dee-Bee's words make me think I may have inadvertently neglected to pass my condolences to you back when your niece passed and, if I did, I apologize.
Of course I offer them to you and your family now, because God knows that every time I lost someone, just hearing or reading the words meant the world to me.
I think it may be the same for you.

Thank you very much. I do appreciate the kind words and it does help tremendously. It's October and Breast Cancer Awareness month. I would be doing my niece a great disservice if I didn't take this opportunity to get the word out about awareness. Going to spend part of my day doing that.

I just got the complete Dorsey/Sinatra set for cheap, about $3 per disc.

https://www.amazon.com/Song-You-Frank-Sinatra/dp/B00138H7FO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494469401&sr=8-1&keywords=the+song+is+you+dorsey+sinatra

It was incomplete, though, because I only got the cd's; there was no booklet.

I may (and I mean not sure) have an extra booklet from a set I was given a while back. I will dig it out and let you know.

I tremble in anticipation! smile

I'm guessing this fell through. Now I has a sad. frown

Okay David, I did the digging. What I have is not what you are looking for. I have a duplicate of the booklet that came in the Reprise Collection Box Set. It was given to me quite a while ago with a damaged copy of one of the discs - no box and the other 3 discs missing. I tossed the disc and forgot to toss the booklet. It is is very bad shape so I tossed it today. I'm sorry it wasn't what you needed. frown

I will tell you though that there are quite a few like new copies on eBay for around $20.00 with free shipping. One is make an offer. I would get one of these and then your set is complete. smile

I think it's the language we have in common that separates us. I don't know what he and Oc-man are talking about either, Ed.

It's no big thing, in fact it's really very simple!
big grin

Okay, this is probably some locker-room shenanigans that Oc-man and JP are snickering about, Ed, so maybe it's just as well they don't tell us what they're talking about. wink

Well, what I CAN tell you that very few people have ever really mastered the art of expressing emboldened thoughts whilst espousing the virtues of a certain Mr. FAS.

Thanks for checking, Ed!

You are very welcome. Wish it had been the correct one. I actually checked with a friend of mine who is an avid Sinatra fan as to whether she had an extra (she scours tag sales, secondhand stores and is known to buy duplicates) but no luck. However, she did give me a duplicate copy of Sinatra duets she had, which is actually in much better shape than mine. smile

Y'all THINK you're being tantalizingly obscure......

Prompted by the indecipherable Earl of Poncey, I submit the following:

really very simple! emboldened bold

So I took all the words in bold and typed them above. And they mean nothing to me.

If I take the FIRST statement with bolded text:

It's no big thing, in fact it's really very simple!

And think about it way-too-hard, I come up with:

"Someone is writing a tell-all bio about Sinatra and talks about his penis."

Which is just as I said: Locker Room Talk. big grin

I found a complete set (discs, book, long-box) for 20 clams. Snatched it up.

Anybody want my spare discs?
