I lost interest when television and corporate America turned it into a reality show- instead.of a sport ( baseball , also)

Only the great 49er teams of the 80s thru mid 90s kept me interested.
Haven't watched a game since Rice and Young left.

Oh yeah, what a duo!

I still remember the td against Dallas at end of first half, 1994 Championship game!

NFL has a fairly big (by minor UK sports standards) following. The fans can fill Wembley Stadium more than once over, and certainly can't fit into Tottenham's new stadium. A friend tried to get tickets for the Raiders game there this year and they had all sold out in minutes, a bit like the John Williams tickets for his Royal Albert Hall concert a little while back.

I've just watched 'Concussion' and can see how the slow loss of interest in the game at school and college level due to CTE worries is beginning to affect things, though I think it will last a good long while yet.

Looks like our safety Keanu Neal is out for the season with an achilles injury. Second year on the trot, and will not help us as the season progresses.

!!!!!!
The Raiders can't even fill their home stadium in Oakland California!

Likely a sell out in UK because its a novelty. Only a few NFL games are played over there per season.
NHL is starting to do the same thing now.

I lost interest when they kept changing the definition of what a "completed pass" was every year, and still do! It was simple enough in the 80's and 90's for Pete's sake. And now someone is injured on ever damn play. Run a play, stop the game. Run a play, stop the game, over and over.

Right?
Drag the poor sap off the field and get the game going.

Lol!

The game never stops in Rollerball. Drag the injured off at their own risk.

Most of them are faking it...or using the ' injury ' to avoid taking a time out.

I don't know what team that was that went out on the field against the Titans, but it sure didn't feel like it was worth its paper value frown
