In the pivotal scene where Cho has flashbacks of his dead family causing him to break the seal on his sword, the film version of Walsh's score has synthesizer notes on each flash of a family member, but these are missing on both the original and enhanced versions of the OST by Varese. Anyone know if these were added in post-production? They greatly enhance the emotional weight of the scene and further emphasize Cho's quest for revenge.

Was just listening to this today and noticed that. Also, used the composer name and title in the search engine and got a myriad of selections but not direct links to this score which I love!

What selections Micki? I like your SN BTW. I do know (since I'm a huge fan of the Ninja trilogy) that there was some music from Enter The Ninja by W. Michael Lewis and Laurin Rinder tracked in parts of the film. Not a heck of a lot but a little bit which gave balance to Walsh's kick ass score. Ironically enough, parts of this score was tracked into Ninja 3 The Domination along with Enter The Ninja despite Udi Harpaz's pretty solid synth score. I wish that the score to Enter The Ninja was released but I think Roger over at Intrada said that the tapes were lost or misplaced but that was years ago. So who knows at this point. At least we did get Revenge of the Ninja on CD finally. I have an autographed copy by Walsh, Director Sam Firstenberg and Steve Lambert aka. Silver Mask Ninja.
