She has looked quite ill lately and she's been posting a lot of weird posts on insta this year. Her eyes has looked really different (huge!) and she herself has used the word "eye" a lot in her posts, for some reason. Something's been up with her. I mean, apart from her liver transplant...
SMG must be heart broken. They were really close. Or at least used to...

It's a joke she had always used about her eyes, which have always been big. I've followed her on social media forever, nothing she posted was off for her.
I am devastated right now.
And yes, they were still very close, I can't even imagine
Oh I didnt know it was a joke about the eye thing. I think I just started following her a year ago or something. Good to know then!
I never really thought of her eyes as big when she was younger. But maybe it just showed more when loosing weight etc recently.
Tragic day for the Buffy family!
Yeah I'm a bit uh, grumpy? I dunno. Just crushed. I mean, you don't get a liver transplant if you're NOT sick but the oh you look like you're dying posts have been thrown at her for at least 5 or 6 years.
Absolutely devastated about the news of Michelle's passing. She is only a few years older than me and since I am also the annoying younger sibling to a much cooler older sister, I always identified with her character on Buffy. There was also a time where I had a huge crush on her.
She hadn't looked super healthy in quite some time, but of course you don't want to assume these sort of things. I feel really sad that she already struggled at such a young age with a serious illness and it probably did not help that people online were constantly posting comments on her appearance. Some people were rude and mean, while others intended to be helpful and worried about her, but even as a sick person you likely do not want to be told that you look bad or be reminded of it all the time, especially if you battle it privately.
It's been one sad week for the fandom. I still have no words.
Update on the reboot, from one of dragon53's film/TV news/trivia threads today:
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER---the revival series will have Sarah Michelle Gellar returning as Buffy, who is a mentor to Nova, who is a “determined and fearless high school vampire hunter”.
