Arguably, wouldn't Philip Glass' highest-grossing film be "The Truman Show"? I suppose it might be a bit debatable since he was credited with "Additional Music" rather than as co-composer, but his music was pretty prominent in the film. Admittedly, I know some of Glass' contribution was taken from previously-existing pieces, though.
