Before Black Friday they have Early Bird, then after Black Friday, Cyber Monday, then it's called something else for the rest of the week. It's lost it's cachet man. frown

It's not special anymore to advertise on the FSM site. Alan Meyerson's score mixing seminar ended in early October yet his ad is STILL indifferently flashing and blinking at the top of the screen.

LOL!! I was noticing the same thing when I logged in this morning. It's like billboards that stay up for months that have movies advertised which are no longer in theaters; can't they use the ad space for a public service announcement or something until another new advert comes along? smile

Not to mention the Black Friday sales suck this year! 10% percent off? 15% percent off? $19.99 Blu Rays? In other words all year round selective "discounts".

When we get to 25%-50% discounts let me know.

We will be assimilated.

Speaking of The Assimilated, did you see how all those La La Land Black Friday release threads were stubbornly ensconced atop the other side of the FSM Board?

"On Thursday we give thanks for all we have, come Friday we realize we don't have enough."

...and come December 26th, we realize it wasn't the enough we wanted and so we bring or send the shit back.

A few years ago my friend requested a Xmas wish list. I gave her a list of 10 movies I would like to have. Come Xmas day, I opened my present and it was some movie I didn't have on my wish list, or EVER spoke about!

It is getting more silly with the early start dates for the Black "Friday" sales. A lot of places started their door busters on Sunday. I happened to pick up the 1TB Spiderman PS4 for $200 which is an insane deal. No way I'd be caught dead going to a store on Friday.

I told my wife to wait in line on Black Friday at Target and/or Walmart and when the doors open run to the grocery section and get groceries. It would confuse the masses fighting over poor quality TVs, etc.
