I want my fellow Star Trek fans to get their unreleased music, which at this point is all from the spin-off series.

For myself and my own wants, I've got every last note of Star Trek music on CD: the TOS box, the 50th Anniversary set, the complete scores from all of "my" movies, and all the select material I liked from the spin-off shows. I literally could not be happier and more satisfied.

The Star Trek Renaissance has been very good to me, but let it continue for others. smile

Yes Ill take any Trek music by McCarthy, Chattaway, Bell and others any day and twice on Tuesdays!

I received my copy of the STAR TREK COLLECTION: THE FINAL FRONTIER box set yesterday afternoon in the mail. I've listened to about half of it so far, while reading Randall D. Larson's informative liner notes (now I know what a descant is!), and couldn't be happier.

The TNG selections, predictably, are my favorite so far.

Of the 23 TNG episodes I originally listed in the opening post of this thread, 8 are included in Disc One of this box set, which makes me extremely happy and appreciative. I didn't really expect to see much of this music released. What a joy.

Disc One covers 14 TNG episodes, and the ones I hadn't listed (such "Time's Arrow, Part II") contain some noteworthy surprises. Again, very pleased.

Can't wait to get into the DS9 material (curiosity made me skip to the Enterprise disc).

I understand that it's been announced that this is the last of these releases. It's a gorgeous looking set, and a fantastic way to celebrate the franchise and give fans a ton of what they expressed enthusiasm for. If things change and we ever get any more TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT music, I'll be first in line to order my copy, but if we don't, it's been a phenomenal run and I just want to say thanks to everyone involved. May this music long endure.
