Ouch :-) Not even positive words on 'Stairs and Rooftops'?

No idea. I sampled it once, in a rapid, 'scrolling' fashion. Never cared for it to invest more. I'll let Sigbjørn respond, if he reads.

That review is as bad as he claims the score to be.

I listened to all of the MI scores in a row for 6 days. One score a day. Fallout was my favorite one. Easily.

Sigbjørn Vindenes Egge holds nothing back in his scathing review of the score:

Great review... Agree whole-heartedly! Joe Kraemer would have knocked the score out of the park.

For those of us that like the score, we can get it on vinyl now at Mondo in the same vein as the one they did for the first Mission Impossible score.

Good! Not interested in watching the movies and now below zero interest in wasting any money on Barfe shit show.

It's good to save.

I‘m not a fan of Balfe‘s work - but his MI:Fallout score I could enjoy.

And since I love the movies he will be an efficient fit.

Just read this review for the first time and while I don't agree with the half star rating, it does touch on my least favorite part about a lot of scores from people like Balfe and Junkie XL. The over processing of an orchestra to the point of it sounding fake. Why do people keep doing this? It gives it such a cheap artificial sound.

I enjoyed parts of the score to Fallout, but overall the overly processed sound with the droning makes me really miss Joe Kraemer.

MI: Fallout (movie) is a masterpiece.

MI: Fallout (movie) is a masterpiece.

I like it but it's not my favorite of the series. I think for me it goes:
Tied for first: Rogue Nation & Ghost Protocol (this one had some really fun IMAX stuff that has sadly been cropped on all home video releases)
Fallout
M:I-III and M:I are tied
M:I-2 (I don't mind this one as much as other people do, but it just feels more dated and doesn't fit with the tone of the franchise)

I think as far as scores to I'd move 3 and Fallout to the bottom of the list. But really, I like all of the movies and their scores. They're all entertaining in their own way so I hope they don't stop making them any time soon.
