At some point in the last couple years or so this world that Marvel's created has taken over my life.
I'm introducing the kids to the movies that came out before they were born and preparing them for Infinity War.
Last month was Iron Man (2008), this week was the only missing gap for me - The Incredible Hulk (2008), a movie I had zero interest in but upon further review was pleasantly shocked how much I enjoyed it.
The piece of music in the Infinity War trailer sounds to me to be original Silvestri? recorded specifically for the trailer but I'm not sure. If Alan ends scoring Infinity War two, in my mind his 4 Marvel scores will rival Back To The Future as his magnum opus.
The MCU was been a abundance of riches in my book. I'm sure the haters will chime in but I could care less. For a guy who grew up loving Marvel in the 70s and 80s when the Hulk TV show was the best live action Marvel had to offer... this a Golden Age as far as I'm concerned.

Gotta agree with you Tom.
They've all been - pretty much* - up to a very high standard of blockbuster entertainment.
And I like how they're branching out into quirkier forms now (Ant Man, Dr Strange, the Guardians, Black Panther) from the earlier template. Even one of the Capt America's was a bleak 70's style paranoia thriller.
I've got some very young grand kids just coming into their own, and I envisage lots of years prepping them in the ways of the Superhero. The oldest (2 n a half) already has a Spiderman costume and leaps around the room going Raaahhhh!!! (when he's Hulk) and whoosh!! (when he's Ironman). The younger fella just stares at him in awe, but I'm sure he'll be buddying up right soon. They're only at the Lego Avengers level yet, but when they're older, I'm sure I'll be doin' it just like you 
*Iron Man 2 and Thor 2 were a bit lacklustre.

Iron Man 2 was a big disappointment at the time but I enjoyed much more a couple weeks ago on rewatch. I only showed highlights to the kids.
Sam Rockwell and Mickey Rourke are perfect.
But the music... it just doesn't work as good as Ramin Djawadi's Iron Man rock and roll score. Not for me at least.

I've also been revisiting the films I've seen before and finally catching up on the ones I missed as I slowly introduce my wife and kids to the MCU. It's been a lot of fun and this time I'm actually enjoying some of the music. I'd pretty much dismissed the music when I originally saw the films, but Thor Ragnarok and Dr Strange and Ant-Man all had me actually paying attention to the scores.
Now that I've rewatched (and seen anew) older films, I find myself seeking out the music. Silvestri's Avengers march is just wonderful, and I find myself really enjoying his Cap theme, too (mostly because my son has latched onto Cap as his favorite hero). I admit, though, that several times this past weekend when I was trying to hum the Cap march, I got through the introductory bars just fine but then found myself launching into the King Solomon's Mines theme and being unable to remember the Silvestri tune at all.

I've loved the Marvel films and my only complaint about the scores has been that the identity that Marvel has so carefully crafted from film to film hasn't extended to the scores. You're scoring Captain America or Thor then you have to use Silvestri and Doyle, dammit. But that's not the rule. (This never happened to the other fellow. Or Luke Skywalker.)
I think the only one I listen to start to finish on a regular basis is Thor. And Spider-Man Homecoming. But I sample all of them almost all the time.
I'm always surprised how much I get into Ant Man.
I think the only one I don't have is The Incredible Hulk. Am I making a mistake? (Oh, and I haven't gotten Black Panther yet.)
I suppose I should start hitting them all this month. Good idea.

I made a chronological Spotify Playlist and noticed that Marvel composers seemed to work on back to back flicks. They REALLY should have retained composers for each of the characters for continuity sake I think. At least with Silvestri he goes from
Cap1 to Avengers and now Avengers again.

Nor for me. I kinda enjoyed how Djawadi evolves his Iron Man theme with each suit. And Driving with the top down is kick ass track!
But let's face it, it's not a good score. But it sure is serviceable.'
The movie was okay (I thought in some ways it was kind of over after the racing track scene...not sure why the creators didn't expand upon Whiplash in full, execrable glory).
I do like that score, though.
But I'm weird, though I liked the Silvestri and Doyle scores for Cap and Thor, I really enjoyed the Jackman and Tyler...the latter were more fun imo. And yes, I know how derivative (and at times pretty darn rudimentary) those latter scores were.
I am more interested in the Ant-man score now.
I lost alotta interest in comic movies after Civil War and all the DC fanboy shouting about how Batman vs Superman was better and Marvel fanboys ARRRGH! The fighting just didn't go down well with me. For the record, I'm of the camp that thinks Civil War was the best MCU movie (and yeah, I love BOTH Avengers' films!).
So ready to hear the meanies in regard to Jackman and Tyler.

I didn't like the Ang Hulk, but the Norton Hulk was really good imo. I mean, it's kind of an ugly-looking film in some places. Too bad Norton couldn't have cooled out and held on to the role, but I really like Mark Ruffalo...thought he did a great job,
I'm still behind on my Marvel, haven't seen any of the MCU stuff last year. I wanted to see Ragnarok, given that the first two Thors I really liked (especially Dark World).
Last superhero flick I saw was X-men Apocalypse, and I liked both the movie and the Ottman score.

I have all the MCU score CDs, but would be interested in a compilation bearing this thread title if it included the Captain America March for the first time on disc...
As for the Hulk, he has two mediocre movies, but a pair of fantastic scores. When you take into account the wonderful Lonely Man Theme, and he is up there among the most well served super heroes of all, musically.
One of the pleasant surprises about The Incredible Hulk (2008) was how much of a love letter it was to the show. Bill Bixby screen checked, Lou Ferrigno cameo and voice acting, and Harnell's Lonely Man Theme. That music is so iconic and character defining that it's hard to think of the Hulk without it.
Another pleasant surprise was how much I enjoyed Craig Armstrong's score. Great stuff.

I think I've 8 or 9 of the MCU scores but have yet to listen to most of them. In the films Ant-Man, Spidey, Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy were most memorable for me. I think. Must actually listen to some of them more than once or rewatch the films.
