This movie was… not for me. I know, I know, it's "fun." But not for me. Aquaman could pretty much do anything (dive bomb from an airplane without consequences?), and sure, I guess if you're looking for a trident, the Trident of Atlan is probably a good one to have. The effects were ludicrous, hundreds of warriors riding giant seahorses while the camera swooped in from miles away, and good luck figuring out who was winning in that final battle (or what anybody's motivation was). And the jokes? "I could have just peed on it" was a new low.
So not for me.
As for the score… again, not for me. It's basically a constant blanket of synth-pop anthems, endlessly surging until you don’t even hear it anymore. (Granted, it's of a kind with the film, where every single moment is played for maximum awesomeness. But the score had nowhere to go, it just kept climaxing.) And the electric guitar riff that punctuated several of Aquaman's early gags (this guy's got attitude!) felt like it belonged in a "Naked Gun" movie.
And yes, the movie seems to be a huge hit. Which just goes to show that I'm out of touch.
Even so… not for me.

Is it available on CD at all? It seems it was released mid-December but I can't find the CD anywhere (only on back order).
I bought it from Amazon France mi-December and it was shipped at the same time (from an US seller). I hope to receive it next week.

Have no interest in the film. I hate parodies. (Unless the Brits do them.) But I am enjoying the hell out of my fan edit of the score.
How do you know if the film is a parody if you havnt seen it? The film was actually quite amazing and easily the best DC movie since The Dark Knight.
Oh wait a minute,you must be one of those Marvel fanboys who doesnt like the idea of a successful superhero film which is not part of their brand.Well joke is one you cos its on its way to making a billion dollars!

It’s an enjoyable score. The synth riffs in Aquaman’s theme are pretty catchy. I doubt it will have the same mileage as RGW’s WW, but I’m enjoying it for now.

Dark Knight was very good too. I don't care what Aquaman makes at the box office, it looks as trashy as Thor: Ragnarok. So sorry no, I have no allegiance to one studio or comic book company.
