Raine Hilson, who was Vangelis' sound engineer at Nemo Studios, near Marble Arch London died suddenly on 12th July 2020 in Nottingham. She worked with Vangelis from 1980 to 1984 and engineered several classic scores and album s including Blade Runner, Chariots Of Fire, Antarctica.

In 2010 Raine found a Blade Runner group on google and introduced herself and invited questions about the score and working with Vangelis.

With Vangelis' and Hilson's passing, is a complete score even still possible? She notes on that Google group how hard it was even for Vangelis to put tracks together for the original album release.

Crazy how a complete version of BLADE RUNNER has remained elusive for 41 and 1/3 years and counting...

She notes they mixed the entire score in Quadrophonic for a release of the film....I guess if that element was found, that would be the best.

Just finished reading that Google thread. What a kind person to have come and answered so many questions. RIP.
