SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY---co-writer Jonathan Kasdan said Michael Mann movies were the inspiration for the Conveyex heist featured in SOLO, “Part of the challenge is to come up with new, inventive kinds of action we haven’t seen in STAR WARS. We often referenced HEAT and THIEF as high-end criminals doing serious jobs that involve huns and big hijackings.”

THE WALKING DEAD---Season 8's finale drew 7.9 million viewers which is the lowest season finale rating since Season 1. The Season 8 finale had an 18% increase over the previous week's episode, but was 30% down from Season 7's finale.

PET SEMETARY---Jason Clarke (ZERO DARK THIRTY) is in talks to star in the remake of the 1989 movie based on the Stephen King novel. Dale Midkiff and Denise Crosby starred in the original movie.

LOST IN SPACE---co-writers Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless said they are already working on Season 2, “[The details are] pretty well worked out. There’s obviously a deep backstory of the robot and the causality of what caused this whole world to happen, and we’ve definitely figured that part out… We are working on scripts and hoping that if we get a green light we’re ready to go. We’ve had a lot of thoughts about it, and hopefully, if everyone watches it, we’ll get to see more adventures of the Robinsons, because we do have some crazy stuff planned out that we really hope we get to film.”

I AM PILGRIM---James Gray (THE LOST CITY OF Z) will direct the movie based on the spy novel.

THE PERIPHERAL---Amazon series underway based on the sci fi novel.

Maybe an unfair fight in Where Eagles Dare. The Germans must have been firing blanks with the tens of thousands of rounds they fire at our plucky bunch & not a single hit. I think it's a great movie up to the alarm sounding off & then it becomes really stupid, but I suppose that's only the end bit...Broad Sword To Danny Boy smile
