Hello everybody!
We will release the trailer next Tuesday, April 30, to SKY FIGHTER and send a private VIMEO LINK & password to watch the completed film to all the contributors to the 2018 Indiegogo.
Hard to believe this will be ONE YEAR (almost to the day) when the first Indiegogo launched. But the good news—the film is done!
If you are waiting for the Ron Jones soundtrack CD (which now won't exist) as the final perk from the 2018 Indiegogo, we'll be sending a Blu-ray/soundtrack CD (of the Bobby Villarreal score) to fulfill this park—only it will be later this year, after our festival run concludes.
To drive everybody nuts, it will be packaged as the 251st Film Score Monthly release, in a 2CD case (not a Blu-ray case).
And...don't kill me, we'll be launching a second, much smaller Indiegogo next Tuesday (4/30/19) to cobble together enough money to make a Blu-ray/soundtrack CD and pay down my credit card—because I spent way more money than we raised!
I mean...WAY more money...it's not good times in the Kendall household.
But I can't wait to show off the film! We just have to keep it off the Internet publicly or else the film festivals won't take it.

Having spent 10 years in low budget movies, I can imagine what you went through to get this made, financially, mentally, physically, etc. Couple that with raising a family, and it's a lot to balance.
I know you've probably heard this before. But, so many people come out to Hollywood and never get anything done. You managed not only to start a great soundtrack record label, releasing dozens and dozens of great soundtracks all us film music geeks love, but also get two films made so far. That's no small feat.
I'm really thrilled you made your directorial debut, and can't wait to see it. I hope the short brings many more opportunities for you.

Justin Boggan, did you add "April 30" as an "online donor release" to the film's IMDB page? That is going to cause a big problem for us. Film festivals will see that and assumed the film has been released on the Internet and not accept us to their festivals. Could you delete that info?

When I was doing my Indiegogo fundraiser for "Sky Fighter," I reached out to Jonathan Lane for coverage on his Fan Film Factor blog. He very kindly promoted us (even though we were a little outside his area) and gave me some great advice on crowdfunding. He is now raising money to make his Star Trek fan film and I would like to return the favor! So at long last I am getting the final perk pressed up, the CD/Blu-ray combo.
This will be packaged like an FSM CD (#251) just to drive everybody crazy, and limited to 1000 units. It will be packaged like a 2CD set, but the second disc is a Blu-ray.
I am so sorry for how long it's taken...pandemic financial difficulties...I am truly sorry.
Screen Archives will ship out the signed and regular copies to donors probably in a month's time, and then sell the rest (if they can!).
I can't afford to do any bells and whistles on the Blu-ray, it'll just have the movie—but is 5.1 sound important to folks to have? It's more expensive and a little more complicated with the file management than just 2.0.

Yay!! I've watched this a few times online, but I'm looking forward to adding the physical release to my collection. If it's possible to get the full surround sound on the blu-ray, that would be cool. If not, c'est la vie.
