Today I watched this 1960 WB film starring James Garner and Natalie Wood. It's oddly prophetic in that Garner is a corporate raider not unlike Carl Icahn and his ilk that we see today. I'm sure his character's predatory business behavior was rather shocking back in 1960. How jaded we are today. Incidentally, the story was written by Cameron Hawley, who also wrote the classic EXECUTIVE SUITE (1954).
Steiner's score is interesting and apparently has never been released. After searching this board, CASH MC CALL has apparently never been a topic of discussion here.
Has anyone else seen this film? I'd be interested to read others' opinions about the film and the score.
Saw the film back in the 70s but don't really remember too much about it. It was right before James Garner became Maverick. I think Max's score was light and tuneful. The late 50s and 60s saw Steiner's scores just full of beautiful melodies.

James Garner was Bret Maverick in the late 50's, long before he made this film.
