I am beginning to wonder if Disney was waiting to announce it for this year or next since this coming year is Disneyland's 65th anniversary and next fall and all of 2022 will be Walt Disney World's huge 50th celebration. My gut is telling me they are waiting to release it to coincide with DW's 50th.
It’s possible but, from Yavar’s interview with Bruce Broughton, it sounded like they had plans on releasing it until Fantastic Flight kind of messed things up.

Still within a year, I won’t rule out it being delayed just yet.
But I do agree, it’s extremely frustrating not having a source that can give some info on the status. Intrada just produced the set afaik, Disney are the ones responsible for releasing it.

im presuming its just delayed like everything else nowadays due to Covid 19. like black widow James Bond mulan and lots of other things. but yes it would be nice if someone from Disney or intrude or someone ANYONE could confirm even a slight hint as to wether its canned or delayed. just something to give us hope! or relief and sadness.

I remember way back in 2007 or before when I first started trying to get the powers to be to release his music. I made a t-shirt and wore it around the parks got a few responses on it and questions asked. I made petitions. got several hundreds of signatures. sent countless emails to Disney which I was later told were all forwarded to Randy Thornton of Walt Disney records the executive music producer (at the time or still is not sure). asked the composer himself and even posted countless posts on various websites and people involved wit the attractions to see if they could help get it released. I even made a website about the composers theme park music and did an interview with him too about it. so I've had my hand in trying to get this released for quite some time. I even thought of raising money to get it released, but that idea didn't go anywhere. then back in 2006 for the four parks one world official album for Walt Disney world I was told that there was to be a suite for the timekeeper FINALLY! however he was informed of its soon the be closure and scrapped it and replaced it with the theme to Ellen's energy adventure which granted hadn't been released officially albeit on a promo years ago released by intrada. so yeah I guess I can see the logic in that so others who didn't have those promos could hear it but still why not include both it is a MEMORY cd album were they not of your visit to the parks? but oh well that's all I the past now and all we can do is wait sadly...

once upon a time many years ago a rumor was spread and then a confirmation. BUT the evil king of the castle was a greedy king and wouldn't let the people of his kingdom enjoy and have what they wanted. so the people became sad and depressed and gave up all hope because who could ever beat the evil king. WHAT'S THIS? a noble knight approaches and what is that he carries? why its the keys to the vault in the very deepest part of the castle. He has come to rescue what was thought to be lost and return it to the people that it rightfully belongs to to give them joy and peace. YAY! THE END! but..when is the questions.... only time will tell...

Doug posted an update on this project today!
All of the master elements are here in hand, including Soarin. As to when I'll have the box set completed, the answer is basically when my schedule allows and when Disney solidifies their release date. Every show in my opinion features a knockout score. I'd be hard-pressed to pick a favorite... but then there is little need to. I'll usually just be playing the entire set. --Doug
