That's great Chris. A wonderful example of resiliency.

People taking pics of them with guns, that's so creepy. I think Chris is English actually. Yep I'm English, the photo was taken by my eldest son who was also at the shooting range.

So glad your wife and son are doing well. Great. Now don't spoil those dogs too much. I'll try not too Joan, but it's awfully difficult

Thank you, they're at Oscar Schindler's factory at the moment, tomorrow they're travelling to Germany to visit my uncles war grave, then Amsterdam. Eventually they will come home

Well they're home after a fifteen day European Road Trip, 4,000 miles, seven capital cities, a visit to the Concentration Camps in Poland plus visits to Corrie Ten Boom and Anne Frank's houses in Amsterdam, and most importantly the Heineken Experience. They are tired but apart from a mild case of food poisoning (James) courtesy of a Polish chicken sandwich and a possible broken toe (wife) courtesy of a slippery footpath in Prague, none of them are any worse for the experience. I have had two weeks of bliss with the three dogs, we've watched fifteen films ranging from Lawrence of Arabia through Kingdom of Heaven to the Dollar Trilogy. We've (well I) have listened to sixty three soundtracks ranging from North and South (all seven discs) Lord of the Rings ( all three complete editions plus the albums) the Dollar Trilogy, Last Samurai, Lawrence of Arabia, Exodus, Ben Hur and too many others to list here. My family have had the holiday of a lifetime. Me, I've had the soundtrack listening experience of a lifetime. The dogs enjoyed it too. The only downside is, that now "she who must be obeyed) is back, I no longer have control over the TV remote. Still I'm damn glad to have them back, cos I ain't half missed them all.
