Oh come on. She is in full control of her life, and is surrounded by "yes men", by her own choice. Putting up a pathetic video keeps her celebrity status relevant in a world obsessed with "reality" personalities.
I'm not so sure of that--just the full control part, I mean. Can someone who is addicted to harmful narcotics be said to ever be in control of themselves? Roseanne already tried to blame her prior behavior on Ambien (?) and, although I think that was taking the easy way out, it's clear that she's in the grip of something--whether it's narcotics or a genuine standalone mental illness, it's hard to say. Her yes men will probably never let an actual doctor get near her--it threatens their livelihood.
Is she a confirmed drug addict? I can't say I understand addiction. But for all we know that video was an "act".
Why is anyone here surprised? This is the woman who grabbed her crotch and spit after singing the National Anthem.
That's different. She was spoofing the way baseball players do the same thing (not during the anthem, of course). But as millions didn't think it was funny, neither did I. I guess I didn't find it UNfunny, necessarily, just really weak.
You know, that's not too far-fetched an idea. During WU, they could say, "And now for a commentary on current public self-humiliation, please welcome, Roseanne". And then Melissa McCarthy, done up like her, sits down and does a riff on the whole thing. ... And then Stefan bursts in and they do a big, girl-slappy quarrel-thing for some reason.
I havent watched the show in decades, but I know she's been a guest, and I recall Dennis Miller (who shares her political stripes) being an a-hole in the role, so it might be a good fit.
Charming. People like you have really found the courage of your convictions in these times, haven't they? You'll all lose eventually - consumed by your own bile if for no other reason. History teaches us this.
You been smoking too much of something? What are you rambling on about, man?

It's those gosh darn New Puritans criticizing your every word.
Ladies and gentlemen, a TV personality now indulging in some virtue-signaling damage control (it's long and I wouldn't expect anyone to sit through all of it):
I just looked at the initial clip again and, I've got to say, I did actually chuckle at the leisurely drag of the ciggy after the insane screech. She'd be great fun on a camping trip.

24 seconds in and she's already full of sh*t! That's when I stopped watching.
