1) Greatest Story Ever Told 2) The Robe 3) Captain of Castille (it was really hard choosing the Robe over this, btw) 4) Diary of Anne Frank 5) How the West Was Won
I have been days without Mr. Goldsmith, so I'm going to watch the movie Small Soldiers and then decide on getting the score. Looking forward to getting back to the JG (yo)!
Annyone dare to venture a comment about the sound quality of "The Cowboys"?
It's great. But the C&C presentation is completely useless as far as listening experience is concerned, so I wonder if there's any way to replace the iTunes tracks of my OST with the exact same programme, using the better-fidelity expanded release tracks.

Varan and Dogora were fantastic. An outtake of the theatrical score of Varan (M2T1) was hilarious! You'll love them.
I'm glad that you've got a wave of Japanese scores coming in. How was The Naughty Prince's Orochi Slaying Original Soundtrack (CINK-51-52)?
"Mothra" is a great score. I'm thankful that Toho Music Corporation released the score both in stereo and the original mono recordings. I prefer mono, so the inclusion of the mono cues makes me happy.
@ Ostinato,
My apologies. I only noticed your post a few minutes ago, so I took the liberty to carry it over to the August thread.
"The Naughty Prince's Orochi Slaying" is a wonderful score, more lyrical and less visceral than many Ifukube works, although it still has enough of that to satisfy. I feel that I'm delving into different facets of the Maestro's compositions. Very exciting. (more detailed notes to follow on the weekend - crazy busy at the moment).
"Mothra", at least to me, sounds more like a "golden age" score, with big unabashed themes. Love it and of course and love the FAB "Mothra" theme, a maddeningly catchy earworm if I ever heard one. I'm counting on driving my mates insane .
