Has anyone received shipping notice on this? I ordered immediately and status still says “Awaiting Shipment”. No response from LLL but perhaps I missed something. Just checking...thanks.

LaLa’s website said it would possibly be ready to ship today (Sept. 13)
And then there was that one time I’d been waiting patiently for a month to get my SAVING PRIVATE RYAN CD only to have the LP for E.T. show up instead on my vinyl-hating doorstep. Sigh.
Received mine earlier in the week and just listened in entirety on the big boy two channel system. Forget each time how beautiful and moving this music is. Just wonderful.
Not much addition to the original although I do really like the two “new” tracks. Have not compared directly with the original disc but it sounds at least as glorious. Two big thumbs up, thank you La La Land!!!!
Every once in a while I'm struck by how Williams codified this particular Noble Americana sound. Obviously all of the Medal of Honor soundtracks used it. Band of Brothers.
I love how it's used at the Smithsonian exhibit in Captain America: The Winter Solider when the rest of the movie eschews that kind of aesthetic.
I was thinking about this the other night when Doctor Who used it to say "America! Civil Rights!"
It's like Star Wars: It's not a sound that Williams invented but he changed how we used it.
Is it me or this reissue feels as if the music "breaths" better? I know is the exact same remaster, but comparing both releases (1998/2019) the newest sounds a bit better. A bit clearer or a bit less compress, lets say.
