If it helps, I've always supported Intrada by buying their albums (that interest me, anyway) or voting them for them in the annual IFMCA awards. They're one of my favourite labels.

Film music, either through original tapes or new recordings of lost scores, deserves to be preserved as much as the films and TV series they were written for. The same also goes for scores done these days.
I'm one of the younger generation here but I gravitate towards Golden and Silver Age scores because of their melodic/thematic structure (as opposed to the typical 'sound design' style found in many of today's scores), and because of the memories that some of those scores conjure up for me of hearing that music in context with the visuals.
