...and of course THAT means I have to do some serious cleaning, and I was wondering how do YOU guys and gals clean the jewel boxes of your soundtracks(And other music)? I leave them where they are - on the shelf - and vacuum the hell out of them!
...and YOU?

Exactly what you said, except for vacuuming them.

Thought you were going to ask: "Which scores do you listen to while cleaning the house? Cinderella? Animal House? Requiem for a Dream?"

But I'm sure there's a thread on that somewhere...

Hey Jim I'm in the reverse situation like in a week, heading up North to join mine incl. sis & hub flying in from across the drink. Londoners, ya know? Our flights are timed so when I arrive I get the rental and then head over to their terminal and pick 'em up. Hope I can remember the way back to those bloody wilds of Joisey with all them deer, bears and wily coyotes. eek

Oh yeah and just to be on-topic, the first CD playing in that rental will be the old Jim C standby!

Well, actually, the first Hoffnung Festival Orchestra (way back in 1956) featured "A Grand, Grand Overture", by Malcolm Arnold, scored for orchestra and, if I recall arightly, 3 vacuum cleaners and a floor polisher.

My rows of CDs don't get dusty because I long ago fitted the tops with dust covers. They're home made, of white typing paper folded over and stapled together, but look very neat and slip right off when I want to peruse the jewels.
