Does anyone have this disc? I recently watched this film on FILM STRUCK (which usually presents pristine audio and video), and the sound was terrible. Throughout the film there was an annoying whirring distortion. I would like to know how the blu-ray sounds before purchasing it.
By the way, anyone who's a classic movie fan should subscribe to FILM STRUCK. It's only $99 a year and you have access to hundreds of titles from the Criterion Collection and the TCM library. The available titles change periodically so there's always something new to discover. I use their app on my Apple TV device.

I shouted from the rooftop about FILM STRUCK last Summer, but no one cared:
Having said that, I dropped them because they've started playing too many Hollywood films for my taste; I liked them initially because they played mostly "world cinema."
