Like I said, he has his dirty fingers in mulitple projects. You don't need him for Top Gun 2 when you already have Faltermeyer on board. This is OVERKILL!!!

So, one film score out of all of those. One of his own concerts and a video game. Yeah, he’s really dominating the film music landscape this year. He’s got his fingers in everything !!!!!

This is great news. Of course, I would have loved if Harold got to do this by himself, but lets face it, he has been out of the game for too long, even if he did COP OUT in 2010.
I think a collaboration could be brilliant. But I have never read anywhere that the two of them are "friends".
I'm just hoping that Harold will not disappear completetely out of the project after some time. I mean, if his sole contribution will be the Anthem, arranged and adapted by Zimmer, then I will be a bit disappointed.
Would love to hear the exact words of Tom Cruise about this.
Great news!!! These two were destined to collaborate on a score together, their styles will work brilliantly together. I could not have picked a cooler assignment for Zimmer to be involved in. The score can't come soon enough!
