Ha, ha...no, I see you, henry! This board can be terribly 'ignoring' (is that a word?) sometimes. I often get the feeling people are not interested in reading threads or the actual conversations, perhaps only the headline at most. But yes -- very much looking forward to Miller's next film. He always takes his time in picking and directing projects, but they almost always turn out well. Did you know I met Miller in Cannes a few years ago, when he was heading the Cannes main competition jury? Hi Thor! I'm glad you're interested in Miller too my friend! How cool that you met him, I would love to meet him and pick his brain for a few days!BTW, the film already has a cast, Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba. It's billed as a romantic fantasy.

Am I on everyone's ignore list or something? You're not on my ignore list henry, and never will be. I'm just not very knowledgeable about George Miller beyond the Mad Max films and Babe.... Hi buddy! I'm glad I'm not on your ignore list, I can be a bit much at times. You should check out THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK and his TWILIGHT ZONE: THE MOVIE segment NIGHTMARE AT 20,000 FEET. He also did the epilogue with Aykroyd and Lithgow. LORENZO'S OIL is a great film too, but hard to watch. You know what? Now that you mention them, I actually have seen two of those, and I liked them both. The Witches of Eastwick was fun and, of course, had a great score by John Williams! The Twilight Zone: The Movie segments were cool too (and the best segments in the film, IMHO). Didn't see Lorenzo's Oil. Maybe I'll check it out...

He also produced and wrote the screenplay for BABE, and directed the sequel PIG IN THE CITY. And both HAPPY FEET films, winning the Oscar for the first. Oh, he produced DEAD CALM. BABE. The man who did Mad Max did Babe...I'm shook. I honestly had no idea and I love both of those film series for, like, completely opposite reasons. Miller might be the Southern Hemisphere's answer to Spielberg.
