Well, THATS a bit depressing. Mind, they said Alien 3 expanded would never happen, and stuff like the complete Conan or William's Dracula... Like a complete Vangelis Blade Runner, I'll keep on hoping...

Well, THATS a bit depressing. Mind, they said Alien 3 expanded would never happen, and stuff like the complete Conan or William's Dracula... Like a complete Vangelis Blade Runner, I'll keep on hoping... Whats depressing? Did you not read my post or do you have me on ignore? No mate, I was replying to Mr Marshall's reality-check a few posts back, it got lost in the other subsequent posts. While the tapes etc no doubt exist there are no doubt many legal hurdles. Things have changed since the show originally came out, and shows tend to get big substantial albums now (WESTWORLD, GOT) but even the series itself seems largely forgotten now. With the interest from First Man and the anniversary of the landing next year, I would love to see a remastered release on Blu-ray or UHD even. Maybe that will get a soundtrack release cleared? That all said, it's a longshot, but stranger things have happened (Alien 3 etc).

Please remind me what the spider ep was about. From Wikipedia: Returns to 1961, and NASA engineer John Houbolt's lonely fight to convince management that the easiest way to land men on the Moon will be to use a separate landing craft. It then traces the design and development of the Lunar Module by a team led by Grumman engineer Tom Kelly. Covers the selection and training of the first crew to fly it, James McDivitt and Rusty Schweickart (along with Command Module pilot David Scott), and culminates with their first flight of Spider in Earth orbit on Apollo 9. The Apollo 10 lunar "dress rehearsal" is briefly mentioned.

You never know... MV Oh, you big tease MV, bless you. Release of the year for me, of any year in recent memory to be honest. A beautiful set of scores from great composers in a brilliant programme. It would be very special. Here's hoping!
