The author brings up baby Yoda (AKA fascist Disney) in the same article. Hilarious!

Is that a Hallmark Christmas film droning on in the background at 0:45 of this video?

Ive noticed this is where washed up actors go to now. Like the olden days when movie stars restored to doing television series or commercials to find work. Ive seen actors like Bruce Boxleitner and Julia Duffy in these Xmas movies.

The only “washed-up” actors are the ones not working because they can’t get a gig.

That's very woke of you. I stand corrected.

A lot of folded white material passing itself off as snow and not even in the deep background.

Also the Canadian actors from the Zac Snyder Dawn of the Dead keep popping up.

Ive noticed all the outside shots are done in a way that focuses on the actors faces and the backgrounds are completely out of focus. Probably in an attempt to keep your eyes off of the fake snow on the ground.

I saw a scene in one of these movies the other night where two characters were in the kitchen. The kitchen cabinet doors were "wrapped up" like Xmas presents. It's like Xmas vomited all over the set.

I actually saw one I liked! "Cross Country Christmas", starring Rachael Leigh Cook. She was funny and adorable.

This reminds me that back in the day I purchased a Japanese import laser disc with the title (if I remember correctly) "Kittens Puppies." Lots of kittens, puppies. Lots. I mean lots. As holiday presents for some of my family and friends I copied the LD onto VHS tapes and warned the recipients that the tape be too upsetting to watch at the holidays. No one said much of anything, if they even bothered to view the tape which I had labeled "K & P"

So the next year I purchased the Japanese import laser with with the title, "Kittens Puppies II" and repeated the gifts, with the simplified title "II". The only response was from my Dad who said "Christ that must've been a lot of sh*t." Then he guffawed and passed the phone to my Mom who said "No, it was sooooooo cute!"
