"4 scores spread out on 3 discs", says mr Townson's INSTAGRAM
where does he say anything about Grusin? If it is 3 scores spread over 4 discs it means probably that it will be three separate releases with one of them being 2CD set.
UPDATE: OK.. here is an actual and complete quote:
"As we close out 2018, our final offering of limited edition archival scores will all be from composer Dave Grusin. Four scores will be spread out on three discs. Come back here this Friday Nov. 30th at 10AM (PT) for the titles, audio samples and ordering!"
It could be one disc with three scores plus two discs with one expanded score. Or two scores on two discs with another two scores on a third disc. Or it might be one very big score on three discs with three very short scores on the third disc. But my bet is one score on one disc and three more scores on the other two. I suppose it could also be two scores spread over the three discs, with two very short scores taking up some remaining room on disc three. Whichever combination, I have absolutely no interest in buying it.
How it will be presented is a question mark. Some of the most requested scores are from 3 different studio vaults. I would love to see THE MILAGRO BEANFIELD WAR and ABSENCE OF MALICE in the offerings.
There might be a combination of film and tv scores. BTW just released on dvd is Dan August with theme by Grusin. It's arriving any minute now at my door. So I'd be very happy if Dan August showed up on this Varese release.

So all together there will be three discs. One disc will be twofer.
Robert Townson did not post about these Grusin titles. The Varese Sarabande Instagram page posted about this, not Robert Townson's Instagram account. Not even sure if he has one.
