When was the last time you cried listening to a podcast? I've never cried listening to a podcast but there is a first for everything. I actually had to pull my car over a few weeks ago to wipe away the tears when I first heard this show. I guarantee you will too when you skip to the 44:23 mark of this episode. If you are a fan of film music or film as a whole, this story, which is about John Williams' cue "Leaving Home" from Superman, will open the floodgates.

I didn't cry, but I sure did cringe over the fact that they got so much wrong about that scene!

The music alone during that scene gives me goosebumps.

I feel sorry for you that that's all you got out of the segment.

Will check this out, but in Jim's defense, glaring factual errors really take me out of even the most emotional of stories.

I can try one of Thor's. Will probably be crying, "Dear God, why did I listen to this?"

They misremembered the name of a cue. Jeez! That really isn't the point of the story.

Only the ones featuring the nasally voice of Jeff "Uh-uh" Bond.

You should know better than to ask a sincere question to this bunch of knucklheads, Erik.

Erik...
Don't get me wrong! I thought that particular story was quite wonderful, and I bet there wasn't a dry eye at Tomlinson's memorial service when they played that piece! Truth be told... I usually have to STOP listening to Superman The Movie right before "Leaving Home" starts, because if I don't, I'LL start to cry, and possibly fall into a depression.

Erik, if I didn't thank you years ago I'm thanking you now. This is a terrific interview, and yes it made me cry.

I'm sorry they haven't recorded much in a while. Their commentaries on Star Wars are top notch.
