Hi all. So if I wanted to finally pick up the Alien movies on blu ray with an eye for which ones have the best isolated score presentations which one(s) will I want?
Aliens is probably the best with the original score matching the movie perfectly, what is not the case of Alien that was edited after being scored, and with the theatrical modified score version available for those that miss the combat drop percussion track.
Alien 3 is the worst, with the isolated score full of edits, audio drops and overall poor sound (it is from the film edited soundtrack before the complete score was discovered)
