I don’t think this one features any audio compression. If it does, it’s not much.

Great! I missed out on the original release and now I can finally add it to my collection (together with Ennio Morricone's The Thing).

I thought this release was limited to 1,000 copies? Now that it is once again available, are these copies in addition to the original run? And, no longer say "limited to 1,000 copies" on the sleeve?

I got the new release yesterday and the cover doesn't mention it's a limited edition. And it seems this new release replaces the old release, because the catalog number is the same.

Going by the album cover posted on SAE, there's significant differences in the two covers. Unlike the original Quartet iasue, the Arthur Rubinstein credit is in non-computer characters, and the key art of David and Jennifer appears slightly bigger, while maybe the movie title is a different size.
