I've seen this soundtrack today in a Parisian shop but it's available only as a LP, unless a CD would eventually be released later of course. What kind of music did both composers come up with? Was it written in a early XIXth Century style in order to fit with the time of the story?
I didn't notice anything particularly XIX. century in the music. But it was a well written symphonic score with actual melodies. The 5-6 minute long cue "Vengeance" is a highlight, for sure.
