I'm assuming it 'cos it was an American production. Has any other actor or anyone done that? I do love a bit of Pie-thorn on here    Posted:   Jan 14, 2019 - 2:07 AM     By:   Tobias   (Member) I am from Sweden and my (first) name apparently pronounced differently in the states than back home in Sweden but I am fine with that because most Americans can`t pronounce it correctly, even though they getting better and better on each occasion I visit U.S.A. and the Fans of Film Music event. My dad have an American cousin who is born in Sweden as Bengt but his parents moved to the states when he was about 4 years old and in the states they do not say Bengt but rather Ben but I guess that is more like a nickname than wrongfully pronounced name. It was always "Hi Jack, where's Jill?", "Where's your beanstalk?" (in my rebellious teens, I would sometimes make a lewd gesture if the person was of my peer group); and of course I was called Jack: Sprat, In-The-Box, Rabbit, and in teen years, Off, Meehoff, Youoff, etc. At work I picked up them nickname Jackaroni as a result of a workpal who was Chinese and the way he pronounced my first and last name. It's weird but sometimes when signing my name (and I think my fine motor skills are pretty decent) I leave out the "C" and I write Jak and then have to go back and try to squeeze the "C" back in.    Posted:   Jan 14, 2019 - 10:07 AM     By:   Thor   (Member) As with Tobias, people say my name differently in English than in Norwegian (obviously).
