Because they both use Tim Morrison? Otherwise I don’t know what you’re hearing. Apollo 13’s Main Title theme is a less elegant Pelican Brief.

Updating my CD database- I just noticed the back side of the CD has the release date as 2018, though it was released in January 2019. What would be the proper release date?

One date is when it was made, the other is when it came out.

If you want proper release date, January 2019 is the answer.

Loving the original promo.
Had a custom cover made so it's almost like having the Intrada 2 CD.
Maybe someday ....

I really like track 22.
Should have been included in the main program.

I can confirm this. The AMPAS promo has 12 tracks. And when Shaun and I agree on something, you'd better listen, cause Shaun's not pretty when being gainsaid.

I haven't bagged a copy of this yet, but I plan to.
Can anyone confirm if track 4, Night Visitors, is a nice tinkly Horner track?

Doesn't mean I haven't listened to disc one.
Promo will do me just fine for now.

Any one noticed issues with the discs? The outer edge of the disc is rather rough, not completely smooth and the center hole punch doesn't even look symmetrical and its also roughly punched out. I haven't noticed any playback issues but don't recall ever seeing a CD with rough edges before.

I believe this was done deliberately as a callback to the DIY, square peg/round hole measures taken to save the astronauts.
