Fyi Some items that are 'Sold out' at the Intrada site are readily available at their Amazon store. Usually marked up$1.

This one doesn't seem to be in the Amazon store.

This one doesn't seem to be in the Amazon store. Probably because Intrada is still selling it themselves?

I've bought more than a few Intrada releases on Amazon while they were also available on their own site, with the markup you mentioned (but still cheaper via Amazon Prime). It seems like they send a set number new on initial release, and when they're gone, the listing sometimes disappears. Which I'm guessing happened pdq this time.

What's odd is Apollo went out of stock in just two months. And was only released this year. Who Framed Roger Rabbit went out of stock quick too. I wonder why they restocked Rambo 2 and 3 (among others) immediately where other titles, like Rocketeer has been on everyone's "Repress Now!" List for years now? MV chimed in about the high costs to repress discs...but wouldn't Rocketeer and Roger Rabbit be an easier sell by now? Or is there some other reason for the gaps in repressing? Either way, I would think that a good time to restock Apollo 13 would be next week. Why not pimp it out as a tie-in? Promote the $h*t out of the Moon Anniversary. "People would come." And maybe more customers than us humble sized regulars? Or is it not that simple to do for just any title? And or...has Intrada already thought of this and we might see something on the website soon?

If Intrada states that Apollo 13 is "temporarily" out of stock does that mean it is out of print? I'm a bit confused. Thanks for any insight everyone!!!!

If Intrada states that Apollo 13 is "temporarily" out of stock does that mean it is out of print? I'm a bit confused. Thanks for any insight everyone!!!! Means exactly as it reads. Except the "Temporarily" part. Back to the Future Part II was listed as "temporarily" out of stock for three years before being restocked. Rocketeer is going on three years now too. In short, more is coming...but could be weeks or years. Reportedly the incrimental closure of CD pressing plants and rising costs from what businesses remain have slowed down production across all markets.

At the time of the film's release, MCA released a concept album featuring period vocals, dialog and portions of Horner's score interspersed throughout. Horner had prepared a 59-minute score-only presentation for release, which was the original intent, before it morphed into the concept album. Nonetheless, MCA pressed up a limited number of promotional copies for Oscar consideration, featuring a black-and-white version of the cover. For this new edition, producer Mike Matessino accessed the 192k 24bit high-resolution transfers of Shawn Murphy’s original mixes on 1/2” tape, with all performance edits meticulously recreated. Disc one features the complete score, with the synthesizer tracks in a suite after the main orchestral program, while disc two recreates the original 59-minute program Horner had originally intended. How many tracks have dialog? I usually hate it when dialog is added to a score. I can live with a "one giant leap for mankind" kinda quote interwoven in the music, but that's about it.
