Of course, your honour. I merely meant that I so desired to own, and to listen to, the score that Gerald Fried wrote for the film THE BABY in 1973, that I ordered it. It isn't due until March, but I'm already getting tingles, feeling sick in the mornings, and eating tins of cat food for lunch.

I apologize if my original comment was deemed "puerile" by the high and mighty members of the forum. It's almost as if you were all averse to the idea of elderly gentlemen having children by other gentlemen old enough to be their grandfathers.

I shall be guillotined at dawn tomorrow. And may God have mercy on my soul.

Ordered from Vasco Cine in France, which has some very competitive prices in its ample "cut price" section for those of us in Europe who are used to paying a fortune for US imports -

THE REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD (Jerry Goldsmith)
THE WIND AND THE LION (Jerry Goldsmith)
    THE FINAL CONFLICT (Jerry Goldsmith)
UNMAN, WITTERING AND ZIGO/ THE NAKED FACE (Michael J. Lewis)
THE MAN WHO HAUNTED HIMSELF/ 92 IN THE SHADE (Michael J. Lewis)
    NIGHTWING (Henry Mancini)
    HURRY SUNDOWN (Hugo Montenegro)
    MOBSTERS (Michael Small)

Oh, and because that came to more than 100 euros, I got to choose from a very limited list of freebies. I didn't really want Goldsmith's LOONEY TOONS or his STAR TREK: NEMESIS, and I certainly didn't need SHREK 2 or ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS, so I chose....

    SAINT JOAN (Mischa Spoliansky)

And what with Gerald Fried's baby due from a... different source... I'm feeling a bit guilty at having spent money. Why do I have to feel guilty when I spend money on music I love? Bah, enjoy life while you can. I was brought up chewing on a bit of linoleum, and if it was good enough for me it's good enough for my children.

It's a store in Ottawa called The Turning Point. Chatting with the owner, he recently bought some CDs off a guy who is into soundtracks. He said this person was just cleaning up some of their collection. He said he had more to put out for sale in the coming weeks (nothing boxset related) so I'll let you know if I find anything else. Other than that, Ottawa has very little to offer in used soundtracks besides the usual suspects.

Toronto has sort of run dry, I was there about a year ago and popped into Sonic Boom on Spadina. They had copies of FSM's Grand Prix by Jarre, and Intrada's Alex North 2001 CDs for $50 a pop. Passed on them both at the time. Not sure if they're still sitting in that used section or not. A few years go BMV on Bloor used to have a decent little used OST selection but that's gone now too. The only place I think that might still have some stuff (that's if they still even sell CDs) if Kop's/Votrex on Eglinton. You know of any other decent places in Toronto?

Bumping myself again, yeah man, I know, but this ties in with the recent thread about the VascoCine site. Also awaiting (from Rosebud in Spain) THE BABY (Gerald Fried), DI CHE COLORE È IL VENTO, UN SOLO GRANDE AMORE and SOLIMANO IL CONQUISTATORE (all by Francesco De Masi). Might add his LESBO to the list, odd as that may sound.
